WebThe problem with bitstream -> Dolby Atmos on Xbox is that it introduces a slight audio latency of about 35-50ms in games which is noticeable in FPS titles. I would use LPCM when playing games just cause it gives you surround sound with zero latency issues. But to your question, it does reduce the volume. Same level as regular uncompressed stereo.
