On January 9th, U.S. Consumer Product Safety (CPSC) Commissioner Richard Trumka Jr. announced in an interview that the agency was considering a potential federal ban on gas stoves. Also, electric stoves are far easier to clean, so there are fewer toxins/contaminants to throw into the air. This might not be scientific, but it is probably more right than wrong.
